Fingerprint Sample
Fingerprints remain one of a parent’s best resources for helping authorities identify their child. As long as the child’s fingers remain unaltered by scars or other unnatural obstructions, regardless of age, fingerprint patterns will stay the same.
Follow our easy-to-use instructions for fingerprinting your child below.
Instructions for receiving the best results:
1) Use high quality stock paper or cardboard
2) Practice on scrap pieces of paper
3) Hold child’s finger and guide them through the process
4) Lightly press down on ink pad or strip
5) Gently press the top of their finger down on the corresponding finger chart.
*Note: often parents try to help their children roll their fingers. However, understand that the most important aspect of the fingerprint is that it is clear and not smudged.
6) Allow fingerprints to dry in a safe place.
